JAMMU, Jan 18; Vacation Judge of High Court, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal has granted bail and suspended the sentence of Nana Ji Handoo, the then Project Manager DIC, who was convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption on January 10, 2014.
The Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption had awarded one year imprisonment and fine of Rs 20,000 to Nana Ji Handoo.
After hearing Senior Advocate U K Jalali with Advocate Anuj Sawheny appearing for the appellant, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal suspended the sentence and granted bail to Nanaji Handoo to the tune of Rs 25,000 each to the satisfaction of the Registrar Judicial.
