UDHAMPUR, Nov 10: A man died while his son got seriously injured due to lightning at village Pathi in Udhampur, here today.
A police spokesman said that one Shallu Ram (45), son of Chand Lal, resident of Pathi Udhampur and his 19- year old son Rinku Kumar were seriously injured when lightning hit a tree, under which the duo had taken shelter amid rain and thunderstorm.
Locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared Shallu Ram as brought.
