Governor, CM greet people on Eid-i-Milad

JAMMU, Jan 13: Governor N N Vohra, has greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and expressed sincere hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of harmony, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In a message of greetings, the Governor said that Islam teaches us the values of brotherhood, simplicity, compassion and morality, all of which need to be vigorously inculcated in today’s trouble torn world.
The Governor prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the State.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has also felicitated people on Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) wishing them happiness and prosperity.
In a greetings message, the Chief Minister said that the birthday of Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) provides us opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Almighty for the entire mankind.
“Let the day be harbinger of peace and development for the State and the country”, Omar prayed.
