JAMMU, Jan 8: While rating five years tenure of Omar Abdullah as a dark period of betrayed and failures, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today lambasted National Conference-Congress coalition regime for celebrating completion of five years term.
“Coalition Government celebrations of completing five years tenure look obscene and ridiculous because this Government has done nothing to highlight as its achievements of last five years”, said spokesman of PDP and former Minister Sardar Rangil Singh.
Reacting to the lists of five year achievements of coalition regime, Rangil Singh said that achievements of this regime also include mysterious killing of Haji Yosuf, JKCA scandal as well as the latest scam in Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE).
“Legalization corruption is the only noticeable achievement of this Government as even the highest office of Chief Minister is also under scan after mysterious killing of Haji Yousuf”, he said and pointed out that recently exposed BOPEE scam scandal is the latest example in the list of series of scams.
Singh regretted that mis-governance and maladministration of Omar Abdullah Government has shattered peoples’ faith in the democratic institutions and failure of this Government has disastrous impact on all aspects of life.
He regretted that instead of addressing basic problems of the people, this Government has been indulged into cheap gimmicks to hoodwink the people.
