Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 7: VHP State president, Dr Ramakant Dubey expressed grave concern over the statement of Prashant Bhushan a senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for demanding referendum on Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA).
This is a serious statement given on behest of forces inimical to the unity and integrity of the country, VHP State president, Dr Rama Kant Dubey told reporters here today. He said J&K has faced lot of destruction and devastation during last 24 years of terrorism and thousands of nationalist people were done to death through the hands of Jehadis in different parts of the State during these years.
By demanding the withdrawal of AFSPA Mr Bushan was advocating the cause of Jehadis and terrorists who have become a threat not only for India but humanity all over globe, he added.
He said the statement has exposed the AAP and it has come in its true colors. It indicated the Party was hoodwinking the Indians on the name of eradication of corruption and decreasing the power and water  tariff while its real objective is some thing else.
He cautioned the people against the AAP and said that the national integration and unity was of paramount importance to every Indian. The patriotic people of India will not make any compromise on the unity and integrity of the nation just for the sake of emotional blackmail made by AAP leaders by promising reduction in power and water tariff, he added.
Dr Dubey said the need of hour for every Indian is to dedicate himself for making this nation great and strong so that India can emerge as Vishav Guru. For this the nation needs a strong leader like Sardar Patel to steer it from present mess, he added.
He said Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal who is dreaming to become the Prime Minister of the country was also speaking in the tune and tenor of Mr Bushan.
The VHP leader asked Mr Bushan to clarify whom he wanted to be consulted for military deployment in Kashmir? Does he want to consult the separatists and militants who have waged a war against nation for last 25 years, he added.
Terming his statement totally foolish he said the AAP leader does not know what will be its consequences.
He said that removal of AFSPA will prove suicidal as dreaded terrorist organizations will increase their activities in the State.
VHP leaders Hem Raj Khajuria, Dr V K Gupta, Sukh Ram and Rakesh Sharma of Bajrang Dal were also present in the press conference.
