BBS demands relief for Geeta Devi

JAMMU, Jan 5: Kanchan Sharma, State president Bharatiya Bahujan Samaj (BBS) has demanded action under law against one Raman Kumar a migrant for attempt of murder on his wife Geeta Devi.
Talking to reporters she said Kumar who has deserted his wife had earlier tried to eliminate her twice. She said the woman has received grievous injuries also and demanded that her husband should be dealt under law.
Mrs Sharma said the poor woman who was married to migrant youth has two children and she has been deprived of relief by the Government as the cash assistance is being withdrawn by her husband.
In an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, (Migrant), she demanded that the poor lady be given the due share of her relief after deducting the same from his husband failing which BBP will hold protest.
