JAMMU, June 22: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) president Subash Shastri has appealed the Finance Minister A R Rather to issue promotion orders in favour of accounts personnel who have passed the SAC Part II examination recently.
Pleading the cause of both State Government employees and pensioners, Shastri also urged the Finance Minister to enhance Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month in view of sharp increase in prices of medicines.
Shastri called for an early action by the Government in conceding the most genuine demands.
