POONCH, Sept 18: A 56-year-old pedestrian died when a motorcycle hit him at Jhulas area in Poonch.
Reports said that the deceased was crossing road near Jhulas Police Post when a motorcycle bearing registration number JK12C-3771 hit and left him severely injured. He was taken to Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital Poonch where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Ghulam (56), son of Abdul Gaffar, resident of Salotri Jhulas area in Poonch.
According to SHO Poonch Deepak Pathania, the motorcycle rider was apprehended and bike seized while a case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
