JAMMU, Dec 17: A team of officials from Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), University of Jammu (JU), led by Director Prof V D Singh, today visited Learner Support Centre at Government Degree College, Kathua.
The visit is the part of the inspections being conducted of all the Learner Support Centres to take on spot assessment of facilities available for the benefit of students enrolled with DDE.
Prof V D Singh also interacted with the students and listened to their problems. He assured the students that JU was providing all kind of support to learners so as to give them a feel of regular study. Incharge Learner Support Centres, Dr Vikas Sharma also accompanied the Director.
Earlier, Coordinator GDC Kathua Centre, Prof Tilak Raj Sharma briefed the DDE officials. He apprised the team about the facilities being provided to the enrolled students to have quality experience of learning.
