UDHAMPUR, Dec 17: A motorcyclist died while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their motorcycle met with an accident after collided with an army vehicle near Jaghanoo Morh.
The accident took place around 6:40 this evening. In the mishap, both rider and pillion of the bike sustained injuries. Locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared bike rider namely Bilal Ahmed (22) son of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of Kambal Danga (Udhampur), as brought dead while pillion rider identified as Anil Kumar (26) son of Bansi Lal of Neeli Nallah (Udhampur) was referred to GMC Jammu after providing initial treatment.
The concerned Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
