Samba police works out theft cases, recovers stolen bikes

SAMBA, Sept, 23: Samba Police under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, has worked out a theft case registered at Police Station (PS) Bari-Brahmana with the arrest of three accused and recovered two stolen motorcycles.
Police said on September 17 a written complaint was lodged at PS Bari-Brahmana by Rohit Singh Manhas, son of Angrez Singh Manhas of Smailpur, Mohlla Manhas tehsil Bari Brahmana regarding theft of his Passion Pro Motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK21B-8569 which he had parked near Kisan Bar, SIDCO Chowk, Bari Brahmana.
On the basis of complaint a case FIR No.168/2022 U/S 379 U/S 379/IPC was registered at PS Bari-Brahmana and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a police team of PS Bari-Brahmana headed by SHO Bari-Brahmana, Inspector, Inderpal Singh under the supervision of Mohammad Usman, DySP Hqrs Samba (I/C SDPO Bari-Brahmana) after arduous efforts, developed some lead in the case and succeeded in the arrest of three suspects who included Meer Alam son of Shah Mohd of Nowabad Sunjwan, Jammu, Shakeel Bhat, son of Bashir Bhat of Kupwara Tandar and Arbaaz Khan son of Bashir Ahmed of Jhakani, Udhampur.
On their disclosure, stolen Motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK21B-8569 was recovered in the instant case from their possession.
Further on their disclosure, one more motorcycle (Bajaj XCD-125 ) bearing Registration Number JK02AL/ 8894 which was stolen from Malik Market, Jammu was also recovered
