JAMMU, Sept 30: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today retrieved a large chunk of land from encroachers near Satwari by demolishing pacca structure and illegal boundary wall.
The enforcement team also removed ‘khokha’ from Ware House market and also removed the encroachments from the road side near Railway Station and adjoining areas.
The team also demolished a house at Subash Nagar, which was constructed illegally by the owner in violation of sanctioned building place.
The enforcement team was led by police parties from Satwari Police Station and District Police Lines.
