UDHAMPUR, Aug 13: Police today arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of PP Tikri and recovered approximately 7.80 grams of Heroin like narcotics from their possession.
The accused were apprehended by a Police team, led by Insp Rajesh Sharma, SHO Rehambal, during routine Naka checking duty on NHW Tikri. On frisking, approximately 7.8 grams of Heroin like narcotics was recovered from their possession.
The accused, namely Saleem Mohd, son of Kaku Mohd of Dhanu and Dinesh Goswami son of Subash Chamder of Tikri, were arrested on the spot while the recovered narcotics was seized.
A case vide FIR number 189/2022, under section 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation was set into motion.
