Leaders of YRS, BAJ, other associations pledge to fight for rights of Jammu

JAMMU, Aug 8: Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS), Bar Association Jammu (BAJ), All J&K Transport Association, PHE Employees United Front and many other organizations today took pledge to fight for the rights of Jammu.
The leaders/ representatives of all these association met today at Press Club Jammu, wherein they discussed threadbare all the important issues related to Jammu. The leaders in one voice demanded the Government to declare holiday on 23rd September, the day of Maharaja Hari Singh’s birth anniversary.
They also demanded construction of a multiplex building in High Court to house all the courts and tribunals. The burning issues and demands of the Transport Union and PHE employees also figured in the meeting.
The meeting observed that citizens and employees of various Government departments are on roads for their rights but Government has failed to fulfill their demands. All the leaders decided to start a mass agitation against the Government for its complete failure to meet the aspiration of people.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Rajan Singh Happy (YRS president), Mandeep Singh (YRS senior vice president), Vishal Singh (YRS vice president), M K Bhardwaj (president, Bar Association) and his team, Rohit Sharma (president YLA) along with his team, Vijay Singh Chib (president, All J&K Transport Union) and his team and Rajinder Singh Taj, Ravi Hans and Hoshiar Singh (from PHE Employees United Front).
