Two drug peddlers arrested with cannabis

JAMMU, June 28: Bahu Fort Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 750 grams cannabis from their possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK05C-4047.
During checking, police team recovered 750 grams cannabis from the possession of the two persons travelling in the vehicle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Junaid Ahmed Dar, son of Abdullah Dar and Mehraj Ahmed Dar, son of Abdul Rashid Dar, both residents of District Pulwama.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
