The protesting employees appealed the Lieutenant Governor J&K for their transfer to Jammu by framing a comprehensive time-bound transfer policy and also demanded to utilize their services in Jammu Province/ respective home districts till suitable transfer policy is framed by the Government.
Besides this, they also appealed the concerned authorities not to pressurize the Jammu based employees working in Kashmir by issuing orders of transfers /deployment especially in Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra or to resume their duties in any manner which is not feasible owing to recent selective and target killings of Martyr Rajni Bala of Govt High School, Gopalpora, Kulgam and others in Kashmir valley, as employees are in fear and mental trauma.
The protesting employees raised various slogans holding umbrellas in their hands as there was humid and hot climate throughout the day.
While addressing the protesters, Mohinder Bhagat, President Bhagat Maha Sabha J&K extended his unconditional support to them in all the ways and urged the Government that these all Jammu based employees should be immediately transferred to their respective home districts as they are not the part of rehabilitation policy of Government and a comprehensive transfer policy should be framed in their favour at earliest.
