SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Five persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesperson said a Winger, bearing registration number JK02AP 1720, on way from Gulmarg to Srinagar hit and injured a pedestrian, Amira Begum wife of Mohammad Abdullah of Drung, Tangmarg near Post Office Tangmarg. The injured lady was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Tangmarg for treatment.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A 1121 met with an accident at Hardu-Suresh, Khag, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Noor Mohammad Ganie son of Ghulam Qadir and a pillion Mohammad Shafi Ahanger son of Ali Mohammad of Nassarpora, Khag. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment, the spokesman said.
An unknown Tipper hit and injured Hajra Begum, 70 wife of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat of Thokerpora Qoimoh, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
In an another accident, an Alto car bearing registration number JK05D 1999 hit and injured a cyclist Abdul Ahad Rather of Sangrama at Sangrama Chowk on National Highway, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment, the spokesman said.
