Running with India but supporting Pak won’t do: Sharma

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, May 15: Criticising the Kashmir based politicians’ duplicity, BJP Spokesperson, YV Sharma said that there are some politicians who adopted a policy of ‘running with India ostensibly but are actually supporting Pakistan’ for last seven decades which have caused immense bloodshed and hardships to the, otherwise, peace-loving and simple people of J&K while amassing wealth and enjoying, both, pelf and power.
In a press statement issued today, Sharma asked the civil society of Kashmir as to how long they would keep silent about these dastardly acts of terrorism and gun culture. “Both Kashmir and Jammu have both suffered a lot during the last four decades on account of terrorism and it is high time that the civil societies of both the region show their will to stand up against this hydra-headed monster and uproots it, he appealed.
Rahul Bhat was killed in his office by terrorists in broad daylight in Chadoora, Kashmir. This was nothing else but another episode of systematic ethnic cleansing by terrorists in the Valley, he said.
It’s also unfortunate to point out that there are several Kashmir based politicians who are blaming India and its Government for the so called “wrong doings”. They blame the Indian Government for the continuing terrorism in J&K and go as far as to warn that India has the possibility of going the Sri Lanka way without understanding the cause of present unrest in that country. In fact, they are practically praying for it, he said.
Sharma further said that during the last couple of weeks, politicians of Union Territory have been rather busy. We had the delimitation report for J&K, electricity crisis for a while and then very unbecoming outbursts by some disgruntled politicians. Against this vast nation called India which is on the verge of becoming a world power in the times to come.
Commending the security forces for hunting down the culprits, he exhorted them to re-seize the initiative of locating terrorists through combing operations as had been done in the Punjab and it is important for providing a sense of security to the public in general and KPs in particular.
