BANDIPORA, May 14: BJP Convention was held at Sumbal on Saturday in which thousands of Party workers from Sonawari attended.
Prominent among those present in the convention were former MLC Amberdar, J&K BJP spokesperson, Abhijeet Jasrotia, BJP leader, Rather Mehraj and others.
BJP workers raised pro-party slogans. Abhijeet Jasrotia said that Kashmir people are deprived of many facilities due to previous governments.
He assured that to raise the problems of Sonawari people before higher authorities so that these problems might be solved.
Flaying NC and PDP, Jasrotia said that dynastical politics deprived the people of democracy.
He said that back door appointments, nepotism and corruption were the root cause of deterioration of Kashmir.
Before starting the function a two minute silence was observed to pray for the departed soul of Rahul Bhat.
