J&K suffered most under BJP regime: Patil

JAMMU, Mar 10: AICC In-charge J&K Affairs, Rajni Patil, MP, has claimed that J&K has suffered the most under BJP regime and the policies of Union Government and UT administration have triggered resentment among the public.
Addressing a rally at Simbal Camp near here today, Patil said that ideological fight against BJP and its policies towards J&K shall be intensified in the run up to the Assembly elections.
She claimed that Congress has always stood for secularism and unity in diversity and took care of each and every section of the society equally while BJP believes in division and polarization for vote bank politics.
PCC chief, G.A Mir lauded the people of border belt for facing the hardships boldly and for standing for the nation and secular values.
He assured that all sections, especially the Sikh minority, shall be given due representation in distribution of party tickets depending upon their potential.
Mir assured full support for the relief and rehabilitation of PoJK displaced persons and for their other rights.
Raman Bhalla assured the border population that their issues would get priority in Congress.
“R.S Pura belt has been the bastion of Congress always and would reject the divisive policies of BJP,” he maintained adding that Congress would always stand with border people and each and every section including the Sikh minority community for their protection and promotion of their rights.
Congress chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma; T.S Bajwa (Ex-MP); DCC president Jammu Rural, Hari Singh Chib; Pawan Raina, Mula Ram and others were also present on the occasion.
