JAMMU, Aug 13: S. Hardev Singh, a scholar, writer and social activists from Bakshi Nagar is contesting from Jammu West constituency in the elections of District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu, going to be held shortly.
The notification for the revision of electoral rolls for the DGPC elections has already been started for the purpose by the District Administration. In a meeting of the prominent persons from the community from Bakshi Nagar, Rehari and Talab Tillo held here it was unanimously resolved to nominate S Hardev Singh of Bakshi Nagar as independent candidate for the DGPC elections from Jammu west. They also decided to support him as a candidate of clean image and good reputation, who can serve for the betterment of the community.
