Srinagar, Aug 6: Station House Officer of Police Station Kunzar in district Baramulla and his staff member were suspended after three persons fled from the police lock up early today.
The SHO Kunzar Police Station, Mohammad Yusuf and Munshi of the Police Station were suspended after three persons lodged in the Police Station fled away when the staff of the Police Station were observing Shab-e-Qadr.
Three persons Nizam Ahmad Malla son of Himayat Malla, Haroon Ahmad Akhoon son of Mohammad Manzoor Ali of Kolkata and Mohammad Shamim Gazi of Nizamudin, New Delhi were in the police lock on charges of theft.
They were booked under Section 2013 457, 380 of RPC under FIR 71/2013 under Police Station Kunzar.
