JAMMU, Aug 5: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) today held protest against rising prices of the vegetables.
The activists of DF&SS led by its president Ashok Gupta raised slogans against the UPA Government and alleged that it has failed to control the rising prices of the vegetables.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta stated that UPA in its election manifesto had made a commitment to provide food items at a very nominal rate, but in the month of July, the prices of vegetables are touching sky.
He asked the UPA Government to take immediate steps to control rising prices of the vegetables, so as to provide relief to the people.
Among others, who spoke were Sukhdev Singh, Geeta Devi, Raj Kumari, Bantu, Nanak Chand, etc.
