SAMBA, Aug 5: The people of the town held protest demonstration as they were duped by the owners of a private company M/s National Traders here today.
Reports said some outsiders reportedly from South India, opened a private company with the name of M/s National Traders at Samba town about a month back and started business. They used to provide furniture and various other electronic items on very genuine and cheap rates. After some days as the public rush started picking up, they started booking of the goods taking advance money from the customers. They used to tell public that goods will be coming within weeks time.
After collecting huge public money this way, they closed office last mid night and went underground. The people who had invested money in advance, rushed there in the morning and saw the office locked. Then they started protest on the road. They also later lodged an FIR with the police. It has started investigation.
