Recent meetings nothing but an eyewash: KPC

JAMMU, Aug 1: Kashmir Pandit Conference (KPC), has termed the recent meetings organized by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (GoI), at New Delhi, nothing but an eye wash ahead of the coming elections in the State and Centre.
President, KPC, Kundan Kashmiri, while addressing some corner meetings at New Delhi today stated that recent meeting organized by the MHA, GoI at New Delhi and also meetings organized previously by State Government and its agencies from time to time with some KP leaders and Apex committee members proved always an eye wash and against the expectations of victim community of displaced KPs. The false assurances and promises made by the Centre and State Governments so for with KPs have exposed them.
Kundan Kashmiri further stated that for the last 24 years in exile, KPs have been demanding carving out “Kashyap State” in Kashmir valley for them, but so for nothing tangible has been made in this regard.
He appealed KP community to be united for the struggle to achieve Kashyap State for seven lakhs KPs and live a dignified life.
