JAMMU, Aug 1: Pradesh Youth Congress Committee’s general secretary RS Pathania demanded Degree College and an ITI at Majalta.
Addressing a meeting, Pathania demanded separate developmental blocks for Deot and Manwal and setting up of a municipality for speeding up the pace of development there.
He also demanded Sub-District Hospital for Majalta and an accidental hospital at Manwal and health sub-centres at Chor Panjian, Pathwar, Neeli, Parla Sundla, Tajoor and Chani.
Pathania also expressed concern over shortage of staff and infrastructure in various schools.
He also demanded immediate repair-cum-renovation of Kathil-Punna, Majalta-Peuni, Dhamma-Thani, Majalta-Jansal, Tajoor-Peuni, Mansar-Barigarh, Sundla-Babay, Mahalanga-Chaugan, Dhamma-Jansal and Nanoti-Chadai Naon roads.
He also highlighted poor condition of electricity and water supply in Nakki, Sundla, Bharnara and other villages. He also highlighted poor healthcare and medicare facilities in the area.
