UDHAMPUR, Dec 23: A young boy was found hanging from a tree near his house at village Gandala while a labourer was found dead at his rental house in Rehmbal area of Udhampur today.
Sources said that body of one Madhan Lal (20 yrs), son of Mansa Ram, resident of village Gandala near Udhampur, was found hanging from a tree near his house under mysterious circumstances.
Local people saw him hanging and immediately called police. A police party from Udhampur rushed to the spot and took the dead body in its custody. It was later shifted to District Hospital, Udhampur for postmortem. The police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members. It has registered a case and further investigation was going on.
Meanwhile, laborer Romesh Yadav (47), resident of Chhattisgarh, at present residing at village Padano in Rehambal, was found unconscious at his rental house. The family members took him to District Hospital, Udhampur where doctors declared him dead. Later, the body was sent for postmortem. The police has registered a case under 174 CrPC.
