KATHUA, Dec 20: A Deep Hand Pump Drilling Machine Loading Vehicle brunt to ashes when it came in contact with 11 kv electric wires at village Mangloor in Dayalachack area of Kathua district today. But the driver and his assistant had a narrow escape.
The unfortunate fire incident took place when a Deep Hand Pump Boring Machine Vehicle was moving to Mangloor village. Due to height of machine the vehicle came into contact of 11 KV line passing through the village. The vehicle caught fire after the electric short circuit. The driver and his assistant immediately came out of the vehicle safely before it brunt into ashes.
