JAMMU, Dec 16: Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma along with JMC Councillor, Gopal Gupta today started road blacktopping work at Talab Khatikan here in Ward number 5.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Mayor said road blacktopping was an old pending demand of Talab Khatikan people as it was in dilapidated condition and needed urgent repair.
People had difficulty while passing through the road and nearby shops had all dust from there as vehicles ply over the road.
People of the area thanked Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma and JMC Councillor, Gopal Gupta for starting road blacktopping work.
Vinod Gupta, Rajesh, Anil Dutta, Gopal and others were also present on the occasion.
