RAJOURI, July17: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, F C Bhagat today chaired a meeting held to discuss the arrangements being made for Baba Buddha Amarnath Yatra, to be conducted from August 1, 2013 to August 12, 2013.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to ensure adequate supply of drinking water and power supply, cleanliness of the venue, security, availability of medical facilities and essential commodities during yatra.
The officers of the Arty Brigade and BRTF were asked to provide tents for temporary shelter and maintenance of road during yatra.
Thousands of yatries from the district and other parts of the state are expected to visit Baba Buddha Amarnath, Mandi (Poonch).
As per past practice, arrangements for their temporary stay are being made at ground near Dudhadhari Temple, Rajouri.
Those who participated in the meeting included President, BBANY Sawagat Samiti, Rajouri, committee members besides officers from Police, PHE, Power, CAPD, Health, Municipal Committee, Army and BRTF.
