SAMBA, July 17 : In a major breakthrough, Police headed by Inspector Chaman Gorka SHO Police Station Ghagwal under the direct supervision of Israr Khan, SSP Samba and Munish Anand, DySP HQ Samba, has arrested four thieves who had come to district Samba with the intention to commit thefts.
All the four thieves have been arrested during the night search, surveillance and checking operation. Gaurab Dass S/o Hari Dass R/o Nai Basti, Amritsar and Surinder Kumar S/o Kewel Krishan R/o Udh Morh, Tanda Hoshiarpur have been caught at 11:30 pm when they were moving suspiciously at Village Nonath Ghagwal.
In another incident, Ghagwal Police noticed the movement of two individuals in the dry bed of Bai Nullah. Police gave them a hot chase and ultimately succeeded in nabbing both of them namely Ram Pal S/o Yogi Sharma and Sanjay S/o Goshar, both residents of Khagaria Bihar.
During interrogation they could not give any satisfactory reply with regard to their presence in the area and that too during late hours of night. Police is suspecting that they are behing a couple of thefts which have taken place in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba, Ghagwal and Ramgarh.
