Missing Army jawan surrenders

UDHAMPUR, July 15: Army jawan, who had gone missing on July 6 along with his Insas service rifle and  three magazines  from his unit, yesterday surrendered before his senior officers.
Sepoy K Shree Kanth Kuklam, son of Kuklam Shekhar of  Pune of 874 AT Battalion Udhampur, had gone missing on July 6 following which  his senior  officer logged  a   report  in this connection at  Police station Udhampur.
Yesterday,  the jawan  surrendered in front of  senior offices of his Unit. During questioning,  the jawan disclosed that he had hidden his rifle and magazines in Birmah  Nallah, Udhampur.
As per his discloser,  Army recovered the  service rifle   from the said Nallah  but  3 magazines could not be  located while search for the same was still on.
