Srinagar, July 13: The Mashkoh Warriors of Dagger Division yesterday organized a medical camp for locals at Naugam in Mawar valley in North Kashmir.
A statement issued by the Army said here that the medical camp started at 0930 am in which health checkups were carried out and free medicines were provided to the villagers of Mawar valley who suffered from various medical ailments.
“A total of 209 patients, including women and children were examined by a team of 5 doctors, 1 from the Army and 4 provided by Block Medical Office, Langait”, the statement said.
The Army facilitated the movement of the sick and needy villagers to the medical camp. Some needy locals were also provided with blankets and other assistance.
Dr Munir Ahmed and his team were felicitated on the occasion for their assistance in conducting the medical camp.
