JAMMU, July 11: Aircel today launched a special product to contribute Zakat during the holy month of Ramzan.
With a recharge of Rs 139, the customers will get talktime of Rs 135 and Rs 4 will be contributed as Zakat. Aircel will make an equal amount of contribution, which in total of Rs 8 would go as Zakat on every recharge of Rs 139 during this period. The amount collected will be offered to the Jamia-Zia-Ul- Quraan, Madaris in Quraan education in J&K.
The customers will also be able to contribute Zakat by dialing *122*786# and donate any amount of his/her choice, which will be deducted from his main account balance.
