JAMMU, Sept 22: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Member of Parliament from Jammu -Poonch Lok Sabha constituency along with Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu, Vikram Randhawa, Ex-MLC, councillors Rajkumar Tarkhan, Neena Gupta and Rahul Kumar visited Ward No. 51 Channi Himmat Jammu and dedicated houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna-Urban to the beneficiaries at Channi Himmat Jammu.
A public meeting cum programme organized by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha Unit at Ward No.51 Channi Himmat in which a large number of gathering took part. BJP workers and local residents greeted Member of Parliament for his visit to Ward No. 51. Jugal listened the demands and issues faced by the public regarding road and other works.
While speaking at the occasion Member of Parliament said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has launched various schemes for the welfare of the common man and today houses constructed under PMAY-Urban are dedicated to the beneficiaries. He said that major steps were taken in the period of COVID times to save the country and now the country is emerging as Atma Nirbhar Bharat. He appraised the welfare schemes among the masses and said that schemes like Pradhanmantri Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojna and Ayushman Bharat proved as boon in COVID-19 times. He interacted with the beneficiaries and came to know that they are facing a lot of problems and by the efforts of their Councillor and PM Modi welfare schemes they got their house constructed. They complimented Prime Minister for the great cause.
Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC Jammu said that a tremendous development has been seen in Jammu and Kashmir after the formation of BJP Government at Center and every worker of BJP is working hard to outreach the ideology of party to every doorstep.
