Cabinet recommends revocation of Prez rule in J’khand

NEW DELHI :  The Union Cabinet today recommended  the revocation of President’s Rule in Jharkhand.
The Cabinet’s recommendation came in wake of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) legislature party leader Hemant Soren’s claim to form a new government in the 82-member state assembly.
On July 9, Mr Soren met Governor Syed Ahmed and handed over a list of 43 MLAs supporting him.
The President’s rule was imposed in the state on January 18 after the JMM pulled out from the BJP-led government. (AGENCIES)
