SRINAGAR, Sept 13: The J&K Government today reconstituted the 7-member Selection Committee of SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital Bemina, Srinagar which is going to be headed by the Chief Secretary.
As per the order issued here, sanction has been accorded to the reconstitution of the Selection Committee for making promotions of the faculty members of SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar against clear vacancies and under Assessment Merit Promotion Scheme (AMPS).
The Government has appointed the Chief Secretary Chairman of the Committee while the members appointed in the committee including the additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Prof. M.S. Khuroo, former Director and dean, SKIMS Soura, Dean Medical Faculty, SKIMS Soura, Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar.
The order also stated that the Principal SKIMS Medical College/ Hospital Bemina, Srinagar will act as Member Secretary.
