Srinagar, Aug 25 : The Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee projected a long list of demands during a press conference here today.
The demands included a full rearrangement and transfer of personnel from district to top-level offices, allowances for Asha workers, and resolving issues of daily wagers and contractual lecturers.
The JKPCC, President Fayaz Shah, told a press conference that the organization that encompasses 22 departmental organizations, including education, social welfare, ICD, Tourism, higher education, handicrafts, forest, health, and medical education, R&B, RDD, and others. “We have a lot of unresolved issues. We have a six-point agenda for today’s news conference,” he said.
The transfer of G2 and G3 teachers, the payment of salaries to casual labourers, the salary raise for NAREGA employees in compliance with workplace laws and the release of delayed earnings for Anganwadi workers are among the other demands.
