POONCH, Aug 25 : A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan died after he was hit by a shooting stone near Poshana on Mughal Road today.
Official sources said that Constable Nissar Hussein, son of Habib Ullah, a resident of Dhanore Jarallan in Rajouri district was on leave. He had gone to a dhok in Poshana area on Mughal Road. While cutting wood, he was hit by a shooting stone from the hillock in Poshana area near Behramgalla.
With serious head injuries he was evacuated to Government Sub District Hospital Surankote in an unconscious condition where the doctors, declared him as brought dead.
Nissar was posted in 92 Battalion of Border Security Forces and was currently on leave. SDM Surankote, Nahiem- ul-Nisa visited Sub-district Hospital Surankote to meet the bereaved family members of the BSF jawan.
