KISHTWAR, Aug 12: Police arrested three persons along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by SHO Inspector Abid Hussain laid a naka at Wasserkund and intercepted a truck.
During checking, police team recovered 130 illicit liquor quarters and arrested three persons, who were identified as Manzoor Hussain, son of Ghulam Ali of Udyanpur District Doda, Mohammad Irfan, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Udyanpur District Doda and Jaffer Hussain Sheikh, son of Bashir Ahmed Sheikh of Malipeth District Kishtwar.
A case FIR Number 184/2021 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
