JAMMU, Aug 12: Restoration of nine ancestral properties of Kashmiri Hindu migrants, return of 520 migrants’ families and getting Government jobs under the Prime Minister Development Package is a healthy sign which will pave way for return of all migrants to their home and hearths.
It was stated by J&K BJP executive member Raman Suri and he said that this will not only end decades of exile but also strengthen the composite culture of Kashmir.
“The move of the Government to retrieve their encroached properties and return them will enable others to pursue their cases before returning to their legal custodians,” Suri said, adding that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the J&K is witnessing a unprecedented changes from being distributed to peaceful where development is taking place in each and every district.
“Since the abrogation of Article 370, all provisions of the Constitution have been made applicable to the Union Territory and District Magistrates are made custodians of immovable properties of the migrants. This is the reason they can evict any encroacher from the land and handover the same to its lawful owner including migrants,” Raman Suri added.
