JAMMU, Aug 12: The J&K State Pensioners Association (JKSPA), Jammu has demanded hike in the Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month of the employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the leadership of Krishan Singh (president), the members expressed resentment against impounding its arrears due from January 2020, which has adversely impacted the working class. They also demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance of the employees and pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month. They also demanded Income Tax exemption limit up to Rs 6 lakh and payment of pending DA arrears.
