Srinagar, Aug 6: An ambulance with a patient on board today caught fire near Chortheng Mod in Ajas area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district

In the incident that occurred around noon, the patient, as well as the driver, escaped unhurt
Officials said that the ambulance was heading towards Srinagar when it caught fire after the engine of the vehicle heat up. They added there was no loss of life reported during the incident.
Soon after the incident occurred, the fire tender along with the police rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. The patient in the meantime has been taken to Srinagar in another ambulance.
