JAMMU, July 19: Rotary Club of Jammu Elite held installation ceremony.
On the occasion, prominent educationist and social activist Pooja Malhotra and Meena Jaggi were installed as President and Secretary respectively for the year 2021-2022.
Dr Upinder Singh Ghai District Governor was the chief guest and the installing officer, while DGE Dr Dushyant Choudhary was the guest of honour.
During the function, seven new members were inducted into the Rotary Club of Jammu Elite.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Arvinder Ghai and Dr PS Grover along with his wife.
The event was successfully conducted by Gurvinder Kaur and Rohini Aima in the presence of galaxy of prominent and senior most rotarians.
Pooja Malhotra in her speech assured the prestigious organisation to contribute whole heartedly and work for the needful society in the fields of health, child education, environment protection, women empowerment, support to poor handicapped youth, adoption of veer naries and will launch a war against cancer.
All the members of Rotary Jammu Elite graced the occasion.
In the end, all the outgoing team members were felicitated for their outstanding services to the society particularly during Coronavirus pandemic.
