UDHAMPUR, July 17: Col (retd) Mahan Singh, District Development Council (DDC) Chairman, Kathua has said that the BJP Government at the Centre has strengthened the security grid across the nation to an unprecedented level for which full credit goes to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi along with the Home Minister, Amit Shah and Defence Minister, Raj Nath Singh.
He said that there is no need to fear the hovering of drones over Jammu as Indians are quite safe and secure in the hands of Prime Minister, Modi.
The DDC Chairman stated this while chairing a virtual meeting held at the BJP Office Udhampur to deliberate and discuss the existing security scenario under the topic of ‘National Security’. Col Mahan Singh was deputed by the party’s senior leadership as a part of its e-Chintan programme. A large number of personalities from across the district participated in the virtual meeting.
Col Mahan Singh said that BJP Government stands committed to strengthen the National Security Grid especially in view of the fact that Bharatiya Janata Party’s ideology is based upon the fundamentals of nationalism and first and foremost it is necessary to focus on the nation’s security in order to nurture and sustain nationalism. He said that in this regard the PM Modi led Union Government deserves full kudos for giving free hand to the security forces for giving befitting reply to the enemies, be it Pakistan or China. He said that the Central Government has taken serious note of the hovering of drones in Jammu city and has taken up this new challenge. He asserted that the Central Government will soon roll out a concrete policy to deal with the issue so that such incidents of drones intruding sensitive locations do not take place in future.
Appealing to the people not to fear and maintain calm, Colonel Mahan Singh said that India today is a power to reckon with at the global level with big powers holding joint military exercises and training with it and all this happened due to the strategic policies of Modi Government. He asserted that India and the Indians are quite safe and secure under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
