RAJOURI, July 3: The police rescued four bovine animals in Taryath area of Kalakote from the clutches of a smuggler today.
A police spokesman said that a naka party from Police Post Taryath, intercepted a bovine smuggler carrying four cattle towards Budhal via Khawas on foot. The police rescued the cattle and arrested accused person. He was identified as Mohd Akhtar, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident fo Jungrial in Taryath. A case has been registered against him.
