SAMBA, June 25: Bari Brahmana police arrested a thief and recovered Rs 20, 000 cash stolen by him.
Police said one Rashid Mohammad, son of Mohammad Shaffi lodged a complaint at police Station, Bari Brahmana regarding theft of Rs 20,000 from his home.
In this regard an FIR No 144/2021 u/s 457/380 IPC was registered at PS Bari Brahmana. During investigation suspect namely Mohd Asmile was arrested after hectic efforts and during his interrogation he confessed his crime. On his disclosure, the stolen cash of Rs 20000 has been recovered by police party lead by PSI Maneesh Sharma under supervision of Inspector, Rajesh Sharma and SDPO Bari Brahmana, Nihar Ranjan and on the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Rajesh Sharma.
