UDHAMPUR, June 7: Udhampur police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered six grams of contraband substance heroin from his possession.
The accused, identified as Mohd Younis, son of Chattu of Thard Udhampur, was apprehended by a Police party of PS Udhampur, led by SHO Chaman Gorkha during patrolling at Thard National Highway. During search, six grams of heroin and one weighing machine were recovered from his possession.
In this connection, a case FIR number 186/2021, U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation is going on.
