JAMMU, June 3: Police seized 9 vehicles involved in illegal mining here today.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, Police Post Beli Charana, Police Post Sidhra, Border Police Post Gajansoo and Border Police Post Kirpalpur on specific inputs raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized nine different vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
