14 SMVDU students get placement in HCL, Ericsson

JAMMU, May 9: During an online placement drive conducted by Tech giants like HCL Technologies and Ericsson, 2 MTech and 12 BTech students have been selected from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU).
Further, 11 MBA students of the passing out batch in 2022 have been offered Summer Internship with a stipend and pre-placement offer option.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is keeping no stone unturned for the campus placement of students passing out in the year 2021 in a difficult time of COVID-19 outbreak.
Professor R K Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, congratulated all the campus placed students for getting employment opportunities despite the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis and advised them to be sincere and hardworking during their job.
SMVDU is in the proximity of the Trikuta foothills and provides technical education in the field of engineering, science, management, philosophy etc. It is ranked 80th in the world by Times Higher Education Impact ranking 2021 under the SDF-07 category, and was ranked 3rd in the country under the same category .
